May is almost over, how could it be? Alijah turned 10 at the beginning of the month. This is so crazy to me.. my baby is 10!! She is such an old soul... very spunky, opinionated, creative, witty and loving, it's pretty amazing that Lincoln and I created such a cool little lady! I always said I'd never have an only child.. yet, here we are 10 years later and she's flying solo.... guess that's how it was meant to be.
Memorial weekend marks the annual Kanosh voyage...we haven't been down for memorial weekend for many years, but now Lincoln's mother Shirlene's headstone has finally been installed so we will spend the day down there with her, make sure everything looks good and light about 500 candles she had hidden around her house. It's weird to think she's been gone for almost a year, she would've had her 79th birthday on May 7th.
